What is a kiln support roller? The kiln support roller is the main part of the rotary kiln, supporting the weight of the rotary kiln, and plays an orientation role on the cylinder so that the cylinder and the kiln tyre can rotate smoothly. Generally, we have relatively high requirements for the durability of the support roller, and it is one of the indicators to measure the quality of the rotary kiln.
AGICO is an experienced cement equipment and cement equipment spare parts manufacturer. We provide support rollers of various sizes and weights for rotary kilns, rotary dryers, rotary coolers, etc.
We sell individual support rollers or complete sets of support roller assemblies.
One support roller assembly includes two support roller sets and a support base. If you need, the thrust roller sets can also be equipped. The support roller set is mainly composed of the roller, roller shaft, roller bearing, guide ring, etc.

AGICO is your one-stop shop for support roller and support roller assembly purchasing. As long as you provide us with detailed CAD or PDF drawings or specific dimensions, we can CUSTOMIZE the product to your satisfaction.
Quotation: the price of the rotary kiln support roller mainly depends on the following aspects.
1. Weight 2. Choice of raw material 3. Heat-treatment requirements and process requirements
Kiln Support Roller Manufactured By AGICO

Highlights Of AGICO Kiln Support Roller
AGICO adopts 3-level ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure that the product quality meets the standard and the mechanical properties meet the requirements for use.
AGICO kiln support rollers adopt rolling bearings and bearing bushes. The rolling bearing is a good choice for small rollers, while the bearing bush is more suitable for large rollers.
The support rollers produced by AGICO are made of high-quality materials such as ZG55 and ZG42CrMo, which have high tensile strength, good impact resistance, and large load-bearing capacity.
AGICO adopts the process of normalizing and tempering in the casting of the support roller so that its surface hardness is higher than 200HB, which enhances the high-temperature resistance and reduces the frictional resistance.
AGICO Kiln Support Roller Manufacturing Process
In the manufacturing process, we will first design and make the suitable wooden mold according to the customer’s needs, then strictly follow the process of smelting — material property testing – casting – cleaning — heat treatment — rough machining — finishing machining — nondestructive testing — packaging to cast the state-of-the-art kiln support roller.

How To Replace The Kiln Support Roller?
1. Cooling The Rotary Kiln Cylinder
Stop the kiln, and after the kiln body cools down, put the jack under the kiln tyre, and then remove unnecessary parts such as the heat insulation cover.
2. Jack Up The Kiln Body & Remove The Bolts
Lift the kiln body with a jack located under the kiln tyre, then remove the bolts connecting each part and push the support roller away to a convenient lifting position.
3. Lift Off The Support Roller & Replace It With A New One
Use a crane to lift the broken support roller away, and then check the size of the new support roller, after an accurate measurement and confirmation, install and fix it, then tighten the fixing bolts, install back the heat insulation cover and other components, and finally restore the kiln body to its original position.
